About Dr. Tapas Mohanty

Dr. Tapas Mohanty is a renowned Orthopaedic Surgeon in Bhubaneswar with advanced expertise in joint replacement, trauma care, and sports injury management. He is a Gold Medallist in MBBS from SCB Medical College, Cuttack, and holds MS Orthopaedics from JJ Hospital, Mumbai, and DNB Orthopaedics from Delhi. He is also a Member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS) and holds MRCS qualifications from Glasgow & London (UK).

Advanced Orthopaedic Expertise

Dr. Mohanty has completed a Joint Replacement Fellowship in Europe and is ATLS & FIFA certified, reflecting his structured approach to trauma and sports-related injuries. His clinical interests include joint replacement surgery, complex trauma and pelviacetabular fracture management, sports injuries, and knee arthroscopy.

He has previously worked at King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital, Mumbai, gaining extensive experience in high-volume orthopaedic care. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor at KIMS Hospital, Patia, Bhubaneswar, contributing to both patient care and academic teaching. He also practices at Curewell Labs, Patia College Road, Bhubaneswar, offering comprehensive orthopaedic evaluation and treatment.
